Greetings,
This opportunity rarely comes by in a lifetime--the national rights and
rewards of a multi-million dollar software package, gratis. Why?
Because
Paul
Trible is one of only four politicians (now former) that I have admired
in my seven decades on Planet Earth.
The rights and rewards have national, state and district levels based on
an university's community voting to get the rights--see
Vote
for your school. I have stacked the deck for Christopher Newport University
for the national level even tho it will cost me more than my second choice,
VCU in Richmond where I live. Whereas VCU has to have 25,000 students, staff,
employees and/or alumni to claim the national rights, CNU only needs 10,000
votes. Furthermore, CNU is receiving this email a day ahead of VCU.
If President Trible and the Alumni office "ambert alerts" encouragement to
the *@CNU.edu email addresses, Christopher Newport University will be the
national winner. The CNU faculty and clubs should quickly vote and encourage
students, staffs and peers to vote. If VCU beats CNU for the national rights
then CNU can have the Virginia state rights if it beats the other public
schools on the voting list to having 10,000 votes. It costs nothing but a
few minutes.
General benefits to CNU and the public are as follows.
-
Fulfilling the
Primary
Moral Imperative of saving life on earth from climate change. I first
wrote on global warming in
1982. In the first sentence of the second paragraph I
essayed that the oil companies knew (like tobacco companies and cancer).
My webpage
Climate Change lists the two dozen essays since. A must
read is the summary of my research
"CO2: The Global
Multi-Tasking Killer Molecule."
-
24in4: By better employing our human resources we can have a 24 hour workweek
in four years with more funds and fun for self, family and community in a
safer, saner world. See
Demographic Benefits
for more details. (I especially like the proposal of community service to
pay healthcare costs and like the
4-day
flipflop workweek for teachers.) As to my relative anonymity, being basically
autistic, I abdicated from academia due to university politics. I am not
doing this for fame or fortune but to repay my now-dead mentors.
Academically, I completed my undergraduate
requirements
at Southern Illinois University in two years, cum laude. One semester
I ace'd 24 hours. Key to my climate change analysis is my organic chemistry
learning (9 month pre-med in 2 months while taking normal load) and US Navy
electronics(record high on final comprehensive exam). My
resume and
achievements
list other feathers in my bonnet.
Specific national locus benefits
-
Development of a self-funding center for
"Timism:
The Morality of More Time" to implement and manage the software.
Paid interns would
be eventually in the range of 100 to 200.
-
The fees from
Brainbees(1989) and
VoteTime(2002) would be
split between the information systems and mass communication. The latter
would be for investigative reporting scholarships. Please note this software
is old. If you meet me you will realize that I don't care about money but
about doing good with my time.
-
CNU would spring upon the world stage as a result Timism's unifying T.O.E.
in being a heuristic rosetta stone in problem definitions and solutions.
Christopher Newport University can have the benefits of my life's work by
taking a few seconds to vote for CNU to have the national rights and rewards.
In the final analysis, CNU can always say, "Thanks, but no thanks!" to this
opportunity only if it has first voted itself the right to say no. I will
be advertising for my first interns (solo-school or multi-school) this Saturday.
When a school reaches the magic number, I will contact its president for
a meeting to answer questions and formalize an agreement. I will not be the
only person who wonders why you do not act on this rare opportunity.
Sincerely,
Robert "Bob" Barnett
