US habitual politicians were ensuring re-election using budget deficits to
export unemployment and inflation, aka,
monetary colonialism .
A number of things resulted as exported dollars for cheap foreign goods and
services returned to artificially inflate property values that enventuated
into the housing bubble. It would be nice if this were the only negative
consequence. But it is a pandora's box that is the second elephant in the
room after global dying .
