When an officer is mediating a black-white disagreement, whether he is white or black, he should lead off with, "If either of you think I am discriminating against you because of skin color, I am willing to call in another officer of an opposite color." I don't believe the above officers would have engaged in CrowJimism if a white officer would have been present. A racial Miranda Right: You have a right to have a lawyer present and to have a member of your race present.
