Follow-up to Jabber Democracy

Dear Governor Northam,

As Governor on Monday, January 10, you could encourage Virginians to sign up to support high schools being the focus of vaccines. The many reasons are listed in essay on Jabber Democracy.

An important reason why Virginians and others would signup is the development of a cyber-currency created by people engaged in public problem-solving and limited to the purchase of needs (housing, utilities, food and healthcare). The problem with the budget-busting Washington stimulus checks are too numerous to list here, e.g., inflation from more money and less goods/services.

True to the origin of the word currency, they are called "lifehours." The market value of the lifehour is tied to the average hourly wage which makes them immune to inflation. Current value is $25.

When a person signs up to Timism's tools for better democracy (brainbees), they receive 100 lifehours. If they signup to be a jabber, they receive 100 or 50 lifehours. There are many avenues to create lifehours.

Two thoughts:

  1. When millions have billions in lifehours we will have a new, functional currency which can be used to pay for needs includig taxes.
  2. Utility companies and landlords looking at uncollectable dollar accounts will accept lifehours with the knowledge they will be usable for vendors, loans and taxes.

If you do what you can do on January 10, the lead stories and headlines for several days will not be about your successor, but rather about you. You can get back on the morning news shows as the face of Jabber Democracy. You can steal his thunder.

Governor, this is a gratis gift with few comparisons in your life. I am available at a few hours notice to answer your questions.  Given you are moving, if you want first to have an associate vette the ideas and this individual before you jump in with both feet--fine. My urgency is based on the accelerating decline of the needed democracy to solve our shared problems.

Sincerely,

Bob Barnett

P.S. As a vet, thank you for your service.
