Dollar Democracy Rationale

More important than the annual or bi-annual voting at the ballot box is how we daily vote with our dollars. If we finance those who legally steal from us then how we vote on our ballots will not matter.

  1. People Vote Their Billfolds: As was shown by Gandhi, King, Chavez and Anti-Apartheidists, if you withhold your buying power from those who deny you your "inalienable rights" they will stop alienating you by their wrongs.

  2. Best government is the least government which requires all to better self-govern: If you will not sacrifice in the short-term for fair, equal treatment then you will suffer in the long run.

  3. What we do in our homes is more important than what is done in the Halls of Congress. (Barbara Bush): Congress can pass all the legal laws but if we do not live what is logically right when we will suffer what is wrong.

  4. Others cannot steal your self-respect. Others can insult it, but cannot steal it. Of course, a lot of people do not have self-respect because they do not fulfill the meaning of the phase, that is, they do not do any self-re-inspecting to question how they spend their time and money. They empower their oppressors because they don't have time to walk the extra mile to spend their dollars with a better human being. Why don't Amerians have time? Play, Play, Play.

  5. "Living like a baby chicken" is what this writer tells others when asked why he is so happy, that is, "Cheap, Cheap, Cheap!" By living cheaply below my means, I have more time and funds to smell the roses and take naps. Free time is happy time. Enslaving oneself to debts is the road to unhappiness.

  6. Implied in the phrase "Dollar Democracy" is that we can solve our problems wasting masses of money, e.g., $400 million computer program for the Affordable Healthcare Act which did/does not work. If we learn to swim for ourselves, we do not need to pay for a boat, a captain and a crew.

Timism has developed not only boycotts to organize better dollar democracy but has a brainbee by which supporters can prioritize where we can en masse stop those who are legally stealling from us, e.g., through self-given stock options, corporate insiders have committed the greatest bank robbery in history via 401ks: The theft of the middle-class savings and retirement.

  6. The brainbees of timism not only allow you to beetch but to initiate a solution by individuals responding to your insights or by initiating collective action.

  7. When lifehours are traded freely and openly, the dollar charge will disappear to be replaced by a three lifeminute fee.
