• you are ARE offended by Negative, Ugly, Bitter Sarcasm.

What an insulting expression: "You know what I mean?" It indicates

1. education insufficiency,
2. failure to think ahead,
3. inconsideration, and
4. self-centeredness.

On occasion, my response has been,

"No, I'm not intelligent enough to decipher your emotions which you clearly don't know otherwise you would not repeatedly insult me with the question, 'You know what I mean?' I am not your opinion slave who is going to pick up your incomplete, dropped emotions. Failure on your part to get an education does not constitute a duty on my part to do your thinking for you.You should take the time to get to know yourself or keep your mouth shut."

"You know what I mean" is a common mantra of the Ugly Igknowramuses.
