Dear Judge Contreras,

Your January, 2020, rationale for cancelling the Gulf leases can be double-paraphased as "I know climate change when I see it, but I cannot explain it." [Justice Potter Steward]. Here are simple explanations to defend your decision when appealed.

1. Climate Hell
   1. 1982 (Oil Droughts): My first climate change essay predicted that
      1. the more immediate human impact of rising CO2 levels would not be temperture changes
      2. but would be precipitation changes causing local droughts from atmospheric carbonation
      3. with downwind deluges and flooding--the soda bottle shake.
         Together, social, economic and political chaos and collapse would result: Every civil unrest and trans-border since 1970 has been a climate change fueled.
   2. 15 historic and current climate crises document the drought/deluge nexus, e.g., Gulf of Mexico.
   3. Hydrophilia: Hydrophilia--The Smoking Gun:The simple, molecular 'how' of droughts, fires and deluges
   4. Carbon Dioxide--Global Multi-Tasking Killer Molecule.
2. Qualifications: Superior to the vast majority of "weatherheads" dilettanting on climate change.
   1. Transcript: Graduated cum laude in two years at largest Illinois university (29,000 students). One semester of 7 courses was aced for 24 credit hours. The three-semester pre-med organic chemistry course was finished in two months as an overload.
   2. US Navy: Record high on the final comprehensive electricity/electronic exam in ET school.
      [From these two foci, I understand atmospheric "metabolism" as an electro-chemical process.]
   3. Resume: A record of luck, not lies ... a record of a minimalist mentalist not a malignant materialist.
   4. References: Consistent acknowledgement as a hard-working, intelligent individual. Last reference is best.
   5. Timism--The Morality of More Time, aka, the Periodic Table of Existence--reflects 50 years of research. Time is the thread in the fabric of life ... the gravity of existence.

Based on my documented research and essays of over 30,000 digitized documents since the late 1970s--and having an obsessive, compulsive, note-taking asperger personality--it is my considered conclusion that humanity does not have decades to avoid an extinction level event. Without a crash global "Manhattan Project" to reverse the accelerating, synergistic existential meltdown, by Christmas, 2023, people will realize that it is too late. Have you completed your bucket list? I have.

I can present an explanatory Q&A for you and/or your staff. Wielding vast 40-year documentation (Global Dying), I can testify at an appeals trial. With deeply detailed on-line facts, one ean de-construct deniers' lies even though they won't listen and learn. The most common, widespread hate crime underlying all hate crimes is hating truths that refute one's comfort-zone self-lies.
